Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Peridot - Alexander has been chosen for his enthusiasm for learning and school in general! He is always a ray of sunshine. Well done!

Emerald - Noah has been chosen for his brilliant control of the ball in the cricket lesson this week. Well done!

Sapphire - A child in Sapphire Class has been chosen for their awesome effort in their writing assessment; they have worked independently and included all of the features. Well done!

Amethyst - Logan has been chosen for working well to investigate conductors and insulators in science. Well done!

Diamond and Ruby - All of Year 6 have been chosen for working so hard with their SATS this week, and all of Year 5 have been chosen for being superstars with Mrs Griffett in the demountable classroom whilst SATS were taking place.  We are very proud of you all. Well done!

The following children have received a Headteacher Award:

Gamze - for her wonderful attitude to using her maths strategies to complete the calculations.

Rose - for her wonderful attitude to using her maths strategies to complete the calculations.

Felix - for his awesome attitude to writing, he was very proud. 

Poppy and Quinn - for their innovative way they displayed their research.

Lilly - for her brilliant focus in maths, she worked so hard and completed the tasks well.

Cali, Erin, Rory and another child - for their wonderful research on Queen Elizabeth I.

Isabelle and Jake - for their wonderful research on World War II.

Isabelle - for her brilliant work focusing on food in the War. 

Congratulations to Diamond Class who are our attendance winners this week with 98.69%!


Values Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.


 Be Responsible

Well done to the children who have been responsible this week.

Mia (Y2) and Alfie (Y3) have been nominated for their help with cleaning up when another child dropped their food tray at lunchtime. Well done!

Enzo (Y6) has been nominated for helping to tidy up a mess in the hall at the end of lunchtime. Well done!

Take a look at what our children have been curious about this week in their learning!

Monarchs in Peridot Class
Children in Peridot Class have been comparing Queen Victoria and King Charles. They found out lots of information about the two monarchs and have really enjoyed all having a turn at being the King or Queen for the day.

Year 2 Seaside Trip
Our Year two children have had a wonderful long day out at the seaside this week.  Fairbourne Beach is such a lovely place to visit, with lots of opportunities for children to explore.

Staff Award


All of our wonderful cleaning staff, Mrs Fielding, Mrs Gaskin and Sandra, have been nominated by staff and children across the school for their efforts in keeping our school clean, tidy and safe. Thank you ladies!
