Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Perdiot - Ellis has been chosen for trying hard in guided reading sessions and has read the book fluently and answered questions about the text. Well done!

Emerald - A child in Emerald Class has been chosen for reading at home consistently 4 times a week. Well done!

Sapphire - Jessamine has been chosen for her great attitude and pace in all her work. Well done!

Amethyst - Ralph has been chosen for working hard to improve his handwriting this term. Well done!

Diamond - Bailey has been chosen for being an enthusiastic reader. Well done!

Ruby - Rose has been chosen for consistently making the right choices and working hard on her marvellous mistakes. Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

Eileen (Y5) has been nominated for quickly volunteering to take on a lunchtime helper duty. Well done!

Well done to the children who have been respectful this week.

Dylan (Y4) has been nominated for showing respect towards his maths teacher and thanking them for the lesson. Well done!

Take a look at what our children have been curious about this week in their learning!

Healthy Eating in Nursery
Nursery children have been thinking about healthy eating and how to look after our bodies. They have done a taste testing of various fruits. All children really enjoyed the choices and used some lovely describing words to tell everyone how they tasted and which were their favourites.

Gardening in Emerald Class
Children in Emerald Class had a lovely afternoon in the sun at forest school! They planted some sunflower seeds and predicted how tall they would grow.

iRock Concert
This week, our iRock bands performed for the whole school and their parents.  It is wonderful to see the children's confidence growing with each performance!

Cressage Cup 2026
A group of our Year 6 children attended the Cressage Cup Competition. Both the football and High 5 teams did really well. Emma and Miss Slarke would like to commend the children on their behaviour and respect shown towards each other and their opposition.

Staff Award


Mrs Gaskin has been nominated by children in Key Stage 1 for being a kind and caring Lunchtime Supervisor and helping to keep everyone safe on the playground.
