Celebration Children

Congratulations to the following children who have made us proud this week!

Nursery - Leo has been chosen for settling in well to Nursery, and forming some lovely friendships. Well done!

Reception - The whole Reception Class have been chosen this week for helping to settle our new Reception intake when they came for their visit on Tuesday. The children were caring and helpful, looking after the new children and making their visit very enjoyable. Well done!
 

Year 1 - Albie has been chosen for really working hard this week in everything he does, particularly his life cycle of a butterfly work! Well done

Year 2 - Jacob has been chosen for his outstanding effort on writing his story, including interesting vocabulary, sentences and amazing handwriting. Well done!
 

Year 3 - Skye has been chosen for giving 100% in every single moment of the day. An utter superstar and impeccable role model! Well done!
 

Year 4 - Riley has been chosen for his really sensible attitude towards RSE lessons this half-term. Well done!
 

Year 5 - Thomas has been chosen this week for the huge improvement in his swimming ability and using his determination to help him. Well done!

Rowan has also been chosen this week for how hard he has been working with his reading; the hard work is really paying off. Well done!

Dylan has also been chosen for his consistently beautiful presentation of his work. It is always a pleasure to mark. Well done!
 

Year 6 - Carter has been chosen for his absolutely brilliant piece of writing for his Greek myth. A lot of time and thought has gone into every detail, and it is a narrative to be really proud of. Well done!


Headteacher Awards

Every week, all members of staff are asked to nominate children who have been spotted being responsible, respectful and ready. The code of conduct certificates are always varied and demonstrate the range of places and ways that children demonstrate these values.

James (Y6) has been nominated for responsibly reporting a problem with the toilet. Well done!

School Games Platinum Award
We are over the moon to announce that we have been awarded the School Games Platinum Award for 2024/2025. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen for us again this year!

End of Term I-Rock Assembly
We were treated to a fabulous concert from our I-Rock pupils this week - 3 bands who have all been working so hard together during their I-Rock Lessons. Everyone in school thoroughly enjoyed listening to them perform!

Year 6 Wild! Zoo Trip
Year 6 have had a fabulous time at Wild! Zoo, for their final school trip with John Wilkinson Primary School.  The weather was glorious, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience of watching the UK's largest free-flying bird show.
