Year 4 - Benthall Class

Our Class Story

Deep roots and history.

Named after Benthall Hall, a Tudor manor with priest-holes, a Civil-War past and a famous crocus garden. In Year 4, our children dig deeper — into history, knowledge and the roots beneath their feet.

Welcome to our class!

Welcome to Benthall Class! My name is Miss Kilby and I have over 15 years of experience teaching across KS2.

My favourite subjects include French, Art, Science, Geography and English. In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, cooking and travelling. I also like to learn new languages and I’m currently learning how to speak Spanish.

  • Spellings/Phonics: Weekly practise of 4 curriculum focus words and 2 personal ones.
