Year 3 - Haycop Class

Our Class Story
Growing and discovering.
Named after the Haycop nature reserve, a former coal pit reclaimed by nature and alive with meadow, woodland and birds. In Year 3, our children grow in independence and curiosity.
Welcome to our class!
Welcome to Haycop Class!
My name is Miss Watt and I am delighted to support the children as they take this exciting next step in their learning. In my classroom, I aim to create a happy, safe and supportive environment where every child feels confident and ready to learn. I have a real passion for reading and love sharing this with the children. We will enjoy daily opportunities for both independent and shared reading, and our book corner is a calm, welcoming space for children to relax, read and regulate. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, watching the sunset and spending time with my family and friends. I pride myself on being a positive person and hope to bring this positivity into the classroom each day.
