The Reception children have been working with Emma to create a pet of their choice out of clay. The results are fantastic! The children will be bringing them home soon.
The children in year 1 are learning about explanation texts in writing. We are thinking about life cycles over the next couple of weeks and have some visitor caterpillars! We are going to watch them grow over the next few weeks and undergo metamorphosis, turning into beautiful butterflies ![]()
. We met our new friends and made some beautiful collage butterflies as an introduction to our writing topic. We will keep you updated!
We are excited to announce our Summer Fete 2024 to be held on 12th July 2024 5pm-8pm.

Year 6 chilli challenge! ![]()
In pairs, pupils were tasked with different chilli-level maths problems to solve. ![]()
They had to show their answers in a variety of ways to check/prove it was correct and earn a ‘chilli point’. Some pupils chose to also use resources whilst others used an inverse method.
They displayed their workings creatively on sugar-paper.
