Celebrating Anti-Bullying Week
Year 6 uniqueness day for anti-bullying week
As a class we discussed how our outfits expressed ourselves/made us unique and the importance of respecting everyone’s differences!
When children are healthy, happy and safe, curiosity is ignited and learning is optimised. In this section, you will find out what children in school and nursery have been learning this week.

At the end of last half-term, Year 1 and 3 went to the All Saints' Church, Broseley, for a 'Christian Experience'. We learnt about all the good things the Church does and all the beautiful parts of it.
At the end of last half-term, Year 6 hosted a Macmillan coffee morning. Thank you to everyone who supported the event by sending in cakes, and popping in for a coffee and cake.
Year 6 did a fantastic job welcoming visitors, making tea, and serving lots of cake. With your help, they raised £231.31.
Thank you!
Year 3 have had their first DT lesson on 'food'
We have been thinking about where our food comes from, seasonality of food and how food gets to our plates! It made us very hungry!
Children had lots of fun at our Parent, Baby and Toddler group this week. Come along and join the fun on Wednesdays between 9.05am and 10.30am!
Nursery children have been busy thinking about Bonfire Night, Diwali and Remembrance Day. They have listened well to information and asked questions. Children took part in some lovely craft activities to demonstrate their learning. Well done children!
The year 6 children, and their families, joined us to celebrate their week away at Arthog. Staff took lots of wonderful photos for the children to share with everyone at home.
We are so proud of the children and all of their achievements. They have made lots of memories to cherish.
Reception Class have been reading the story of 'Mr Gumpy's Outing'. We thought about what we would take with us on our journey in his boat. We then made jam sandwiches for our trip. The children really enjoyed eating them too!
