Year 2 have been busy making moving pictures for the new Year1 class. We've learned lots about levers and linkages, sliders, pivots and other mechanisms.
Yesterday, Year 4 had a visitor. Jen, from Jackfield Tile Museum, helped the children bring their Islamic art designs to life, by creating them on tiles. We can't wait to see how wonderful the colours shine once they have been in the kiln.
Y2 have been busy coding quizzes using Scratch Jn. Fantastic determination and great teamwork everybody!![]()
Year 1 have been learning about poetry this week. We really enjoy listening to poems in class! We learnt the poem 'Where teacher's keep their pets' together and practiced performing it to our class. ![]()

The Reception class picked their lettuces today. If you took one home, we hope you enjoyed it! Continuing our theme about the sea, the children studied the painting 'Les Betes de la Mer' by Matisse and created our own class version.
In Geography, Year One have been learning about litter and how to be responsible for our local environment. In forest school today, the children used litter pickers to clean up the woodland and playground! They have been really passionate about helping our local animals thrive and cleaning up our planet. ![]()

The Year 6s have been practising their sewing ready for their make do and mend creations next week.

Year 4 had a fantastic afternoon at Haycop Nature Reserve taking part in an invertebrate hunt! We discovered different invertebrates in different microhabitats and made some very intriguing finds!
