We were treated to a fabulous concert from our I-Rock pupils this week - 3 bands who have all been working so hard together during their I-Rock Lessons. Everyone in school thoroughly enjoyed listening to them perform!
Year 6 have had a fabulous time at Wild! Zoo, for their final school trip with John Wilkinson Primary School. The weather was glorious, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience of watching the UK's largest free-flying bird show.
Year 5 enjoyed a VERY hot day at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. The scenery was absolutely stunning, making for a really lovely learning environment.
The children continued their science work, learning about plants and seeds. We explored the surrounding meadows, identifying plants and spotting signs of the different types of seed dispersal.
Year 4 have had an amazing time at the Pioneer Centre. We had sunshine, laughter, fun and lots of great teamwork.
After dinner everyone enjoyed some fun and games on the inflatables and then settled down for the evening. All of the children went to bed smiling and settled really well. We are so impressed with them all.
A selection of children from Year 2 to Year 6 represented our school at one of the most exciting events in our school sporting calendar this week.
The children showed lots of determination and resilience throughout the morning. There was lots of laughter and smiles. Everyone had such a lovely time. There were lots of certificates to share in assembly. Well done, everyone. we are very proud of you all.
Year 1 had the best day out to Blists Hill Victorian town today! It was so exciting to go through the time machine and step back into the 1800s.
We learnt about so many exciting inventions such as the steam train and penny farthings. We also took a tour around the village and we went into a dispensary, printing press, candle making shop and many more exhibits learning all about daily life in the Victorian era.
At lunch time, we enjoyed a picnic and went on a ride on a traditional Ferris wheel, which made us all giggle! Then we dressed up and had an authentic Victorian school lesson - the teacher was very strict! We learnt to write our name in old handwriting on slates.
It was a truly fantastic day and one the children won't forget.
Our Nursery Leavers went off on an adventure to Telford Library and Town Park this week. They had a wonderful time!
The Reception Class have been looking at the signs of summer at Forest School. They played a game called 'What's in the circle?' and had to frame signs of summer within their circles. The children found a lovely selection of items.
We were also able to harvest and eat our strawberries and there is a good crop of peas too!

We learnt about how they played with games like: hopscotch, the diablo, skipping ropes, marbles and hoops. We also made our very own cup and ball toy!
Children in Year 2 a wonderful time at Fairbourne beach making special memories with friends.
Everyone enjoyed a picnic before heading to the beach for some fun. There were some really inventive creations made in the sand. We saw fantastic team work and creativity.
Fairbourne is a place we visit during the year 6 residential to Arthog Outdoor Education & Activity Centre and is a really special beach to enjoy every time we visit.
